Married former air hostess turned high school teacher, 53, 'had sex with 15-year-old schoolboy'

A female high school teacher who lives on a caravan park has appeared in court accused of having sex with a male pupil, who was just 15.

Deborah Lowe, 53, is alleged to have groomed the teenage boy, who prosecutors say she became 'infatuated' with, while he attended a school in Greater Manchester.

Blonde former air hostess Lowe, a mother-of-two who is separated from her husband, appeared via videolink at Stockport Magistrates Court this morning.

She was arrested last week and later charged with sexual activity with a boy under the age of 16 and abuse of a position of trust after police received a report of grooming in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.

Lowe, looking tanned with her blonde hair in a bun, wore a black leather jacket with a black jumper and blue jeans as she spoke only to confirm that she was temporarily living at Elmsbed Caravan Park in Poynton, Cheshire.
