Shocking CCTV shows a gang of armed youths fighting in the street before a car attempts to plough into them.

The fight was filmed in the Wealdstone area of Harrow, London, on Sunday afternoon.

The horrifying footage was posted on the Harrow Online Facebook page this morning.

It shows a gang of at least ten thugs attacking each other with what appear to be large knives and pieces of furniture, before a car comes into shot.

The vehicle aimed itself at one of the men and sped up, just missing one of the hooligans.

It then crashed into a lamppost. A female pedestrian can be seen walking past as the violence goes on around her.

Other gang members attempted to assault the driver of the crashed car who was trapped between the post and a wall.

Detectives confirmed a 22-year-old man was hurt in the attack and no arrests have been made.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'Officers were called to reports of a fight on Locket Road, Harrow, at approximately 4.10pm on July 16.

'He was taken a west London hospital by London Ambulance Service and he is in stable condition

'There has been no arrests. Enquiries continue and Harrow CID investigate.

'Any witnesses or anyone information is asked to call the police non-emergency line on 101.'
