Side-splitting footage has emerged of a stubborn pup causing a Sunday spectacle after stopping in the middle of a park footpath and refusing to budge.

The petulant pooch caused the scene in front of crowds of people enjoying the sunny weather at Burleigh Hill on Queensland's Gold Coast.
