Monaco are doing everything to keep hold of Kylian Mbappe this summer as Europe’s elite clubs circle for the teenage sensation.

Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal are all expressing a strong interest in Mbappe off the back of the 18-year-old forward’s unprecedented breakthrough campaign in Ligue 1.

Mbappe’s Monaco team-mates Tiemoue Bakayoko, Fabinho, Benjamin Mendy are being heavily linked with big-money moves to England and Bernardo Silva sealed a £45million switch to Manchester City last month.

Le Parisien claim the French club are desperate to avoid a player exodus in the coming months and have assured Mbappe that Bakayoko will be the last sale ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Bakayoko is set to be unveiled by Chelsea after completing a medical with the Premier League champions and Monaco have no desire to lose talisman Mbappe.

Madrid remain favourites to sign Mbappe but president Florentino Perez has claimed he would only move for the Frenchman if Zidane gave him the green light.

He said: ‘Sincerely I don’t know. He has to decide if he’s coming to play, if he better continue where he is and continue developing.

‘If Zidane gave me the OK, I would have to say that he would come. They can’t all play, only 11. That job is not mine, but Zidane’s, who manages it very well.’
